It is also the closest port to the historically rich Greek island of Rhodes - you can catch ferries that run daily. Boat cruises around the huge bay are also popular, with snorkeling and scuba diving available. If you want a taste of Marmaris's fascinating history, then don't miss the museum situated inside the harbors 16th century castle.

Many markets and bazaars are scattered throughout the town, offering bargain shopping and a chance to indulge your senses in an array of herbs and spices. Be sure to try the local cuisine - a trip to Turkey isn't complete without sampling a kebab from one of the numerous food stalls. There is also an abundance of top quality sea food restaurants in Marmaris.

Marmaris will also spoil you for choice with its proximity to other places of interest; including Turtle Beach and Koycegiz, where you can splash about in the therapeutic mud baths and take a boat cruise. All of which can be easily organized with your hotel.

We have arranged special discounts with our preferred 4* hotels in Marmaris. This hotel special is designed as a stand alone, 1 week 'tour' or as an add-on before or after your Fun for All tour or Breeze on the Med - Marmaris cruise.

This package is 8 days / 7 nights, 4 star accommodation on Half Board (HB: Breakfast, and Dinner) basis at either "Tropical Hotel" or "Club Marmaris Palace". You can also upgrade to your package "All Inclusive - (AI)" which includes all meals and drinks!

The Tropical Hotel is in a great location close to the city centre and the bay of Marmaris. It has many facilities to cater for the whole family and is very close to the beach. We recommend that you hire a mattress and umbrella for some real beachside relaxation. All rooms overlook the pool and bar area and are air-conditioned.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars close to the hotel but no nightclubs, the flashing lights from the clubs in Marmaris can be seen across the water but not heard!

Club Marmaris Palace is an all inclusive hotel which lies on the magnificent bay of Marmaris. The hotel has 4 pools (including 4 water slides), 3 bars, 4 restaurants, a nightclub, a hamam and its very own Kids World which is a fully equipped creche complete with daily activities, sleep room and experienced, friendly staff.
It also has its own beach (great for sun bathing) and harbor, complete with piers for boat moorings. This all adds up to a great, relaxing getaway for the whole family but with plenty to entertain the adults as well.
