type of tours do you organize?

All our Turkey Tours are
fully escorted from the moment you arrive until the
moment you leave. Commagene's guides and staff
will be with you
for 24/7. Everything is arranged to make your holiday
hassle free and not
have to worry about booking accommodation, buying
tickets for your transport, finding your hotel when
you reach the airport and finding the right tour
when you reach the sites. As the travel agencies can
get a better price than the customer, package tours
also work out to be more economical.
We also offer
independent (custom) traveling options for your ideal
vacation in Turkey & Greece.
What
are the departure dates?
A: We have 3 different fully escorted trips for
Turkey and each of them
has different departure dates. You will find the
details on each tour page by clicking on Escorted
Tours above.
If you are planning to request a Custom
Made Tour then you should not worry about
the dates as custom made tours allow you to pick
your own travel dates.
What
is included in tours?
A: Our tours
pretty much covers everything such as local tours,
accommodations, transportation, domestic flights,
entrance fees, museum tickets, meals etc. Basically
anything you need during your stay ! For

Am
I traveling with a group?
A: Yes, you will
be traveling with a group of people if you book an Escorted Tour
only. We receive
bookings from all around the world but our clients
are mostly from North America.
If you book a Custom
Made, you will be traveling
independently on the regular transports according
to your choice (Plane/Bus) but you will be with a
small group only on local tours at the chosen
areas this gives you an opportunity to meet
different people through your stay in Turkey.
Custom Made Tours are for individual traveling,
this makes the packages flexible to suit your
needs and allows you to travel with an organized
plan but without being herded around in a
group.
How
many people on tours?
A: It
is depending on the tour and the departure date you
will choose but generally there are 15 to 20 people
on board for each trip.
What
is the average age on tours?
A: There
can be a great range of ages on the
tours
from children to seniors
but in general between 25 - 55.

What type of hotels
will I stay in?
A: All hotels are selected by
our hotel editors for your comfort. The hotel quality is 4-5 star
including special boutique hotels in Istanbul and Cappadocia.
All hotels are already set for Escorted Tours and
you can see them by visiting each tour
option.
For Custom Made Tours:
You may pick up your own hotels or leave it to our
travel agents.
I am a single. Will I
share my room?
A:
No. There is a single
supplement fee for each of our Escorted Tours which means if you
are a single traveler, then you will stay in a
single room. It is also the same for Custom Made
tours.
How about the guides?
A: Our guides are
caring, experienced professionals. They’re
more than tour guides: their concern for your needs
and comfort is paramount. And when they’ve
handled all the details of your vacation, you can
rely on them for pointers and information on local
customs. All our guides are professionally
licensed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Are there a
lot of walking on the local tours?
A: There are both walking and
driving between destinations on local tours but
there is nothing like needs a lot of physical effort
! The only place where the most walking is in
Cappadocia especially in underground city. You will
be also informed by your guide once you arrive in
underground city.
What type of buses we
are going to travel with?
A: Our buses
(coaches) are quite new with comfortable large
adjustable seats and A/C. There is no overnight bus
trip in our tours so you don't have to worry about
long bus rides !
For Custom Made Tours: You
may request no bus trip as you can travel by plane
between destinations.
Do I have to pay the
full amount to book a tour?
A: No. You will need to
pay a deposit in order to secure payment if there is
more than 60 days to your departure. Land
Tours: A deposit of
$350 per person is required to secure your
reservation. To secure reservations on a trip
departing within 60 days, a full payment is required
by credit card at the time of booking.
Final payment for all land tours must be received
in full by Fez Exclusive at least
60 days prior to departure, unless otherwise stated.
Reservations will be cancelled if final payment is
not received by the due date and cancellation
charges will apply. Departure Taxes, port charges,
surcharges, and government fees are included in the
tour prices.
For Custom Made Tours:
You will be required to pay 50% of the total amount
of your trip in order to complete the booking. The
rest of the amount should be paid 55 days before the
departure.
What if I need to cancel
my tour?
A: Clients
can cancel at any time. The cancellation will be
effected at the time that Commagene Travel receives a written request from the Client and the
following cancellation charges will apply.
- Prior to 60 days of departure, 80% of the
Deposit.
- Within 60 days until 45 days 60% of the
Nett Product cost.
- Within 45 days until 30 days 75% of the
Nett Product cost
- Within 30 days or less no refund is given.
- No refund is given for a partially used
Product.

How do I book and pay
for a tour?
A: For
Escorted Tours: You
can simply book any of our Escorted Trips by
clicking on "BOOK
THIS TRIP"
button at the top of the detailed tour pages. You
will be also able to view the status of trips by
clicking on Dates
& Prices. You
can also use the Reservation
Form to book a
trip, once we receive your request we will
send you the details for the payment options.
For Custom Made Tours: After
we receive your custom made tour request, we will
send you a detailed itinerary within 24 hours. Once
you agree on the tour then we will check the availabilities
at the hotels, local tours and the
transportation vehicles. After that we will send you
the details for the payment options.
